The terrorists of Al Nusra Front and their allies from Hayat Tahrir Al Sham, operating in the Northern countryside of Hama, are panicking as it seems that their major-scale offensive, initially started on March 22nd, will soon become history.

After meeting with severe losses in the past 48 hours (they lost approx.50 of their fighters), they have now called on all fellow groups, fighting against the Syrian Army, to help them.

In the meantime, the Syrian Army is preparing for an assault on the strategic town of Helfaya, following yesterday’s military victory over Taibat Al Imam, another strategically important town.

But the northern countryside of Hama wasn’t the only place where terrorists had to face devastating results. In Darra Al Balad area of Daraa province, army units continued their efforts against Al Nusra Front terrorists and their allies. Scores of terrorists were killed when their positions were hit, in addition to destruction of their weapons, equipment and vehicles.

The Syrian Army also managed to establish control over the Zabadani mountains, located in the countryside of Damascus, for the first time since the outbreak of war in 2011. An underground tunnel, connecting the towns of Madaya and Baqin, was discovered yesterday, but has been blown-up since.

Aside from that, new attempts against ISIS were made in the province of Deir Ez Zour. An ISIS infiltration was thwarted at the southern outskirts of Deir Ez Zour city, resulting in the killing of 5 ISIS terrorists and destruction of their arms and ammunition stockpiles.

The terrorists, however, keep attacking the civilians. Earlier on Friday afternoon, two shells fell on Al Adawi neighbourhood in Damascus and injured three people.
