KIEV, April 20 (RIA Novosti). Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said he does not consider the conflict in the Donbass "frozen." In his opinion, "an actual hot war" is going on in the region.

The lack of serious progress in implementing the Minsk agreements on the settlement of the conflict in the Donbas has led some experts to call it "frozen." Earlier, Leonid Kuchma (the representative of Kiev in the tripartite contact group) and Pavel Klimkin (the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine) expressed concerns about possible freezing of the conflict in case of rejecting the Minsk agreements.

"Some people are trying to call this [the situation in the Donbass - ed] "a frozen conflict" ..." Is this a frozen conflict? It's a real hot war," Poroshenko's press service quotes his words from an interview with British television channel Sky News.
Poroshenko recalled that since the beginning of the year Ukraine lost 69 military men in the Donbass and 420 more injured.
