Russian security forces arrested 12 terrorists in the exclave of Kaliningrad, located between Poland and Lithuania. 

According to the statement from the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the security forces carried out a special operation and  arrested 12 people, all of whom were originally from Central Asian republics and were members of Islamic Jihad — Jamaat Mujahedeen, an international terrorist group banned in Russia.

In addition, Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation also confirmed the arrest of two people, linked to ISIS terrorists, on the island of Sakhalin, located in the Russian Far East. The men allegedly planned to carry out attacks in the crowded areas.
