Yet another infiltration attempt by Al Nusra Front terrorists and their allies was thwarted by the units of the Syrian Army in the northern countryside of Hama province, the fourth one in recent time.

According to the field reports, army units targeted movements and gatherings of terrorists that were moving from direction of Hur Binafseh towards the army positions in the surrounding areas of Al Zara village and the nearby thermal station. The successful operation resulted in scores of terrorists being killed or injured and destruction of their supplies and equipment.

The army units also gained control of Al Masaneh town, located north-west of the strategic town of Taibat Al Imam that was already captured on Thursday.

In the meantime, more terrorists left Al Waar, the last district of Homs to remain under terrorist control until recently when a reconciliation agreement between the Syrian government and the armed opposition groups was reached.

Earlier on Monday, 16 buses, transporting 115 militants and 475 of their family members, left the problematic district of Al Waar and headed towards Jarablus in Aleppo countryside.

Talal Al Barazi, the Governor of Homs, said the evacuation process is going according to the schedule and should be completed by the 13th of May when maintenance and reconstruction work is supposed to begin. The whole process is being supervised by Syrian security forces, Russian military police, and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC).

Sadly, the day did not pass without terror attacks on civilians. The terrorists kept shelling Damascus and a number of shells fell in the vicinity of "Dama Rose" hotel and Fares Khoury Street, without causing injuries or fatalities.

Later on Monday afternoon, the terrorists, located in the eastern Ghouta fired two rockets at Damascus and which fell in Barmakids area, causing only material damage. Two people, however, got injured as a result of the missile attack on the Rukn Al Deen quarter.

Terrorists, stationed in the suburban area of Al Ghouta are frequently firing rockets, mortars and missiles at the Syrian capital city of Damascus, despite officially being committed to obey the ceasefire.
