Units of the Syrian Army killed 11 terrorists during intense operations against ISIS in the vicinity of the gas plant and west of the Syrian Army Regiment 137, located south-west of Deir Ez Zour city in the eastern Syrian province of Deir Ez Zour.
Since last night, ground troops and the Syrian Air Force are involved in fierce clashes with ISIS terrorists and are raiding their positions in the cemetery areas, the surrounding areas of Panorama and Syrian Army Regiment 137.
Intense artillery strikes were also carried out against ISIS supply routes and headquarters in Al Reshidiya, Al Hamidiya and Sheikh Yassin.
Aside from terrorists, large quantities of weapons and equipment were also destroyed.
As always during their periods of losses against the Syrian Army, ISIS terrorists were putting pressure on civilians.
Since Monday, ISIS terrorists have been shelling Al Jourah and Al Qusour neighbourhoods of Deir Ezzor city. 15 people were killed and 52 had to be hospitalized in the past 24 hours.
Majority of the victims are said to be women and children.
