The Russian President Vladimir Putin has called on Europe not to invent' mythical Russian threats' and perpetuate hybrid wars, but to cooperate on security issues.
"I think we all want security, peace, prosperity and cooperation. So, no need to force anything; do not invent mythical Russian threats, hybrid wars and so on. First you create it, then frighten yourselves into it and on this basis, formulate more policy"- said the Russian leader to the French newspaper Le Figaro on the results of his visit to Paris.
According to Putin, this kind of policy has no future.
"There is a future only in one direction - in co-operation across all areas, including security. What is the main threat today in the area of international security? It is terrorism, but you continue to argue that is is Russia", - said the President.
