Syrian Law Enforcement thwarted a smaller terrorist cell in the coastal province of Lattakia.

The five members of the cell have since confessed to their crimes that involved acts of killing, looting and kidnapping throughout the province of Lattakia.

The arrest comes following an investigation into the activities of the terrorist cell. The attention of the law enforcement was first triggered by the kidnapping and later the murder of a 13-year-old adolescent named Ahmad Mohamed Salokha.

After careful monitoring and a thorough investigation, the authorities finally managed to arrest all 5 members of the terrorist cell.

In the meantime, Syrian Army is progressing in the eastern countryside of Homs province. On Thursday afternoon, army units seized control of four new points around the village of Tlaileh, located 18 km east of Palmyra. ISIS positions in the village of Dhahrat Al Tawili, located east of the village of Habra Gharbiyeh, were also targeted. The strikes resulted in the killing of a large number of ISIS terrorists, in addition to destroying their equipment.

Since yesterday, Syrian Army is scoring one victory after another in the eastern countryside of Homs province, namely after taking control of the strategic villages of Al Toudmouriyeh and Al Khaliliyeh.
