Another busy Saturday for the Syrian Army.
Earlier on Saturday, Syrian Air Force units carried out intense strikes on ISIS gatherings and supply routes in the eastern province of Deir Ez Zour. The strikes were aimed at the graveyard and the brick factory areas, Majbal, Al Tharda, Wadi Al Tharda and Al Ommal neighborhood of Deir Ez Zour city.
The losses on the terrorist side were severe as dozens of terrorists were killed, in addition to destruction of larger amounts of their weapons and ammunition and a machine-gun-equipped vehicle.
Guided missiles were used during operations in the graveyard area, south of the provincial capital of Deir Ez Zour. An entire gathering of terrorists was annihilated close to the power plant, also south of the city.
Later, the artillery units of the Syrian Army heavily pounded ISIS positiona in Huweijet Sakr, Huweijet Al Mreiiyeh and Al Bugheiliyeh village, located in the western countryside of Deir Ez Zour province.
Another gathering of terrorists was hit by the army units in the surrounding areas of Al Tharda Mountain, south of Deir Ez Zour city. Apart from several terrorists, a machine-gun-equipped vehicle, was also destroyed.
In the city of Abu Kamal, two notorious local ISIS leader were killed.
As always, during the period of their heavy losses, terrorists were putting pressure on local civilian population. According to eyewitnesses, ISIS terrorists executed an 18 year-old man in the area of Al Kubar, located in the north-western countryside of the province.
A child was killed and four other people were injured when an ISIS drone hit Al Qusour neighborhood in the city of Deir Ez Zour.
It is expected that the Syrian forces will soon be joined by their Russian colleagues in their efforts against ISIS in Deir Ez Zour.
