Syrian Forces Kill More Than 2000 Terrorists in Aleppo Countryside - Like This Article

Syrian military sources said army units killed and injured more than 2000 terrorists during clashes with ISIS in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province.

According to the statement, issued on Monday, Syrian Army expanded its control in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province and managed to restore security and stability to a several towns and villages, including Al Salyhia, Al Batoshia, Jbab Al Masoudia, Khizraf, Al Faraia, Mostariha, Al Mazzah, Al Wasta, Al Sukaria Sharqia, Bandoka, Al Hamidia, Dour Ahmad Yasien, Al Qahira, Al Bomanaa, Khan Al Shaar, Khirbit Al Soda and Al Himrawi 

2000 terrorists were killed in operations, in addition to destruction of 115 vehicles, 7 tanks ,6 BNP vehicles, 4 cannons, 14 communication rooms and headquarters, and 5 booby-trapped vehicles.

Among the killed terrorists were some “notable” foreign ISIS figures such as Abu Ayyub Al Shishani, Abu Yaqub Al Turkistani, Abu Qatada Al Uzbeki (the Uzbek Emir of Afnan area), Mahmoud Ismail Kojak (Emir of Al Mishrifa), Abdul Rahman Miknas (sniper of Saudi nationality, known as “Abu Said Saudi”), Safwan Al Zeib (an Iraqi terrorist), Ahmed Al Othman (Mufti of ISIS in Maskana), Abu Rihab Shishani, Abu Mohammed Ismail Aljuyemi, Abu Yusuf Al Australi, and Abdel Raouf Abu Hena (Moroccan terrorist).

Operations are still ongoing, new gains are expected to be announced soon.
