Supported by the air force and artillery units, Syrian Army made new efforts against the terrorists on Sunday.

According to the field reports, airstrikes targeted ISIS positions in the surrounding areas of graveyards, Deir Ez Zour Airport, Seriet Jneid, destroying several ISIS gatherings, stockpiles and movements. Heavy losses were reportedly inflicted on ISIS in terms of equipment and personnel.
Meanwhile, Syrian Army made more progress in the province of Homs after establishing control over Tallet Al Midraj hill and three other positions near the Oum Al Siraj Al Qabil area in the eastern countryside of Homs province. Dozens of terrorists were killed during operation.
New progress was also reported in the northern countryside of Hama province. After launching a second assault on the strategic village of Zalaqiyat yesterday, terrorists of Jaysh Al Izza, previously occupying the village, were forced to run to the nearby hills.
Although army units were forced to temporarily leave the village around midnight due to poor visibility and heavy shelling, they nonetheless returned in the morning and literally smashed the terrorists. More than 20 terrorists were killed and the remaining ones fled to the nearby hills. The village is now in the hands of the Syrian Army.
