The Ukraine has without explanation reduced the flow of water to the Lugansk region by 85%. This was reported in the press service of the State Unitary Enterprise "Luganskvoda".
"On May 4th, at two in the morning, Ukraine has without notice, reducrd the supply of water from the Western filtration station (PFS-2) on the territory of the Lugansk Republic" - it said in a statement.
Some towns may be left entirely without water, others are operating at reduced capacity. Until measures are taken to restore the water supply, or diversify the source, this also has serious repercussions on emergency situations such as putting out fires.
