Syrian state television said at least 43 people, many of them women and children, were killed in the US-led "anti-ISIS" international coalition air raids on Raqqah.

Since yesterday evening when raids began, more than 90 bombs reportedly fell on Raqqah.

Majority of the deaths occurred after coalition jets bombed Al Jamil Building in the city of Raqqah.

Meanwhlie, the opposition-linked so-called "Syrian Observatory for Human Rights" said coalition aircrafts carried out raids, targeting areas in the city of Raqqa, in conjunction with the strikes, focused on targeting ISIS posiitons in the north of the city, amid clashes between the joint coalition, consisting of the US-funded Syrian Democratic Forces and the US-led international coalition and ISIS on the axes of the Band 17 and the surrounding areas of the farms in the village of Hittin.

According to various estimates, some 110 civilians were killed in  the US-led international coalition raids since the start of May.

Earlier this week, thousands of ISIS terrorists have reportedly started to leave Raqqah in order to head southwards towards the battlefields in the surrounding areas of Deir Ez Zour and Palmyra.

Some sources claim ISIS made a secret pact with the US-funded Syrian Democratic Forces as the move suddenly came right in time when the Syrian Army made huge advancements against ISIS, a thing that visibly upset the US officials.
