Once again, ISIS terrorists were collapsing in front of the Syrian Army.
Backed by the Syrian Air Force, units of the Syrian Army assaulted ISIS terrorists on multiple axes in Deir Ez Zour city and the surrounding areas.
According to the field reports, army units were involved in heavy clashes with ISIS since Thursday night when the organization was trying to infiltrate Tel Al Brouk.
The ISIS terrorists faced severe losses in terms of personnel and equipment, several of their vehicles including, after their positions next to Raqqah bridge, located northwest of Deir Ez Zour city, were pounded.
In addition, dozens of ISIS terrorists were killed when Syrian Army’s artillery units pounded their movements in the vicinity of Villat Al Adim, the surrounding areas of Al Panorama area and the neighborhoods of Al Hweiqeh and Al Rishdiyeh in Deir Ez Zour city, the old airport, Tel Al Brouk and Al Bugheiliyeh.
Syrian Air Force also carried out intense strikes against ISIS gatherings and positions in Hetleh and Marat villages, located in the eastern countryside of Deir Ez Zour province.
A fire broke out at an ISIS checkpoint in Marat, with several explosions following immediately afterwards, resulting from destruction of a large ammunition depot.
More raids against ISIS terrorists were later conducted in Hweijet Sakr, Panorama area and Al Thardeh, and dealt them a heavy blow.
