At least two people were killed and eight others left injured after ISIS terrorists shelled Al Qusour neighborhood of Deir Ez Zour city. Material damaged to public and private properties was caused as well.
In Damascus, 4 people were injured after mortar shells were fired on several neighborhoods throughout the city.
It is noteworthy that these actions come in a grave violation of the newly established Russian memorandum on de-escalation zones.
Sources from Damascus Police Command said that terrorist groups, stationed in Eastern Ghouta, were responsible for several mortars being fired at Al Abbasiyyen area and the neighbourhood of Kafr Sowseh where 3 people were wounded, in addition to material damage being caused.
Another person was injured after mortar shells fell on the vegetable market in Al Kabbas neighbourhood.
Meanwhile, jihadist groups, deployed in the northern countryside of Hama province targeted Mhardah power plant with several of rocket - propelled grenades, once more violating the new Russian memorandum on de-escalation zones.
According to a source at the Hama Police Command, 12 rocket-propelled grenades were fired on Tuesday morning, majority of whom fell in vicinity of Mhardah power plant and the town of Mhardah itself, which is located about 25 km northwest of the city of Hama, resulting in electrical and mechanical damage to the power plant.
The source added that one rocket landed on a tank, bearing a large amount of material fuel, right at the entrance of Mhardah power plant, immediatelly causing the tank to burn and emission of a think black smoke. The fire has been extinguished since.
Casualties were also reported in the eastern countryside of Homs province.
At least one person was killed and several others were left injured after ISIS-affiliated groups targeted the village of Masoudia in Jub Al Jarah area, with rockets.
It is noteworthy that authorities in Syria remain loyal to all ceasefire agreements, implemented so far, however, they said they will respond to any provocations, while urging all players involved to respect the ceasefire agreement, signed on December 30th last year.
