It seems the recent US bombardment of Syrian Army positions in Al Tanf area is not slowing down the army’s overall progress against ISIS.

Earlier on Wednesday, Syrian Air Force carried out new series of airstrikes against ISIS gatherings and movements in the eastern province of Deir Ez Zour.

According to the field reports, intense airstrikes were carried out against ISIS positions near Al Iman oil station, the Panorama area, Al Qalaa barricades, Raqqa Bridge, Al Mejbal, the surrounding areas of the Syrian Army Regiment 137 and the vicinity of the fuel depots in Ayyash village, located north of Deir Ez Zour city.

The airstrikes are said to have left scores of terrorist corpses behind, in addition to causing destruction of their facilities, equipment as well as mortar and rocket launchers that ISIS terrorists were frequently using to target the residential areas and military checkpoints.

New strikes are expected to be launched soon.
