Divisions of the Ukrainian Armed forces (AFU) over the past week have violated the "silence mode" of the ceasefire agreement almost 400 times, firing more than 3600 shells and mines on the Donetsk People's Republic. This was stated by Eduard Basurin, deputy defense minister of the Republic.

"Over the past week, the enemy violated the ceasefire 389 times, using banned weapons as per the Minsk agreements; 3632 rockets, artillery, tank and mortar shells," - said Eduard Basurin.

Under fire from Ukrainian fighters were around 40 localities in the republic; 23 dwellings were destroyed or damaged, as well as units of agricultural machinery.

Earlier today, it was reported that the AFU was shelling the village of Aleksandrovka, Petrovsky district (West of Donetsk) for three hours straight.

"This morning at 7:00am there was heavy fire using anti-tank rocket launchers on the outskirts of the village and the "grey zone ", - said the head of village administration, Konstantin Chaly. "Shelling has ended, but we can not inspect the damage to people's property, because there are no security guarantees."
