A representative of the Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin, expressed doubt that the money which the EU plans to allocate to Ukraine will go to the restoration of Donbass.

Earlier, First Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Iryna Gerashchenko, with reference to the Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and EU Enlargement, Johannes Hahn, announced that the European Commission will allocate Kiev another 50 million euros for "humanitarian and infrastructure projects."

"If the money was spent on rehabilitation and construction of new infrastructure, we, of course, would only supported that. But, unfortunately, the corruption component in the Ukraine and a number of other criminal actions on the part of this country makes us doubt that this money will be used for its intended purpose, as opposed to for military purposes against the inhabitants of the area, "- said Pushilin.

In addition, he noted that the EU has offered money to the Ukrainian side is not surprising, "we regularly meet with engagement, double standards," added Pushilin.

"The destruction which has already been inflicted on our territory by the Ukrainian army has largely been neglected by European leaders and organizations so far", - he added.
