Syrian forces continue with their counter-terrorism efforts on multiple fronts all over the country.
Earlier on Wednesday, intense air and artillery strikes were carried out against ISIS posiitons in the eastern province of Deir Ez Zour.
According to the field reports, fierce clashes are going on since early morning and got only intensified after ISIS terrorists tried to attack military checkpoints, located in direction towards Al Jbeileh neighborhood of Deir Ez Zour city, Al Tanmyeh sector, and in the vicinity of the graveyard areas.
All ISIS attempts were foiled and at least 11 terrorists were killed and many more were left injured.
Apart from that, the Army’s artillery units also targeted ISIS gatherings in the surrounding areas of Al Sinouf hill, Al Taim field and the neighborhoods of Al Hweiqeh and Al Omal in Deir Ez Zour city, once again killing and injuring plenty of the terrorists.
In addiiton, the Syrian Air Force carried out several airstrikes in the neighborhoods of Al Sinaa and Al Hamidieh in Deir Ez Zour city, the surrounding areas of Liwa Al Tamin, killing scores of the terrorists and also destroying three of their vehicles during the raids in Hweije.
In southern Syria, Army units killed dozens of Al Nusra Front terrorists and destroyed an anti-tank rocket launcher, during the strikes in Mlaihet Al Atash and Daraa Al Balad area of Daraa province and carried out even more strikes in Tiloul Salman, located in the northeastern countryside of As Suwayda province.
