A Jordanian soldier was wounded earlier today in clashes with the jihadists who tried to storm border outpost near Rukban camp, located in demilitarized area at the Syrian-Jordanian border.
According to the sources from the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces, three gunmen riding their motorcycles attacked border outpost near the Rukban Camp.
All gunmen were reportedly killed and one Jordanian soldier was injured during the foiled assault.
It is noteworthy that Jordanian regime is heavily involved in supporting, arming and training terrorist groups, operating in Syria and fighting against the Syrian Army, in addition to frequently allowing them to make infiltrations to the Syrian side of the border.
Just recently, Jordan (alongside UK and US) participated in setting up a major training camp for jihadists in Al Tanf border area.
