NATO and the European Union, in the framework of the shared action plan, intend to strengthen the defence capability of Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Tunisia against external threats.

A joint report states that the overall objective is to support partners in the Balkans, East, and South.

"The main areas of selected cooperation are strategic communications, cyberspace, ammunition stocks and security in the three pilot countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova and Tunisia," the report says.

In this context, the EU will invest in the NATO Building Integrity Program to prevent corruption and improve the efficiency of administration in the defence and security sectors.
