Syrian forces have made new advances against ISIS terrorists in the countrysides of Palmyra, Raqqah and Hama province.

Earlier on Friday, intense strikes were carried out against ISIS gatherings and movements in the eastern countryside of Palmyra.

Dozens of ISIS terrorists were killed and many more were left injured, in addition to destruction of their weapons and ammunition stockpiles.

The Army managed to take control over a 3-km-area northeast of Arak gas station, located east of Palmyra.

The operations are not yet yet finished as the Army is still chasing the ISIS terrorists on the axis of Arak and Sukhneh.

Meanwhile, Syrian forces established control over the entire area, stretching from the town of Al Rusafah in the southern countryside of Raqqah province, all the way to the town of Athriya in the eastern countryside of Hama.

At least 13 villages and farms as well as several hills and other important strategic sites, were liberated during the operations, in addition to successfully isolating the towns and villages, located north of Al Rusafah/Athriya axis, as the Army is preparing itself to enter them from the southeastern countryside of Aleppo, following the expulsion of the terrorists.

6 tanks, 2 BMP vehicles, 4 ammunition caches, 7 checkpoints, more than 100 vehicles and scores of the terrorists, were destroyed in the operations.
