The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, expects that the delivery of Russian weapons will provide protection for his country, dramatically increasing its defenses.

It is of great importance for us, though some are ignorant and say, well, why do we need it?"- said Vucic, adding that the weapons are necessary to prevent a repetition of the scenario of 1999, when NATO bombed Yugoslavian countries.
"Our defense capability will increase overnight", - he stressed, citing the importance of Russian arms.
It is known that in 2017, Russia plans to give Serbia six MiG-29 fighters, as well as a party of heavy armored vehicles, including tanks.
