Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Ministry condemned the latest attacks and illegal incursions, carried out by the Turkish Erdogan regime, in the northern countryside of Aleppo province.
The Ministry has already sent two letters of complaints, addressed at the UN Secretary General and the Head of the UN Security Council on Thursday, following several repeated violations by the Erdogan regime army in several areas of the sovereign Syrian land, in particularly in Azaz, Jibrin and Ekhtrin, located in the northern countryside of Aleppo province.
Previously, Syria already submitted similar letters to the very same bodies, due to illegal Turkish occupation of the sovereign Syrian land, using armed force against civilians, as well as supporting, arming and funding terrorist groups, killing Syrian civilians and fighting against the Syrian Army.
In addition, the Erdogan regime has also started to build a wall which goes deep into the Syrian territory.
The Ministry lashed out at Erdogan regime’s policy of aggression and the Neo-Ottoman expansionist delusions in the Syrian territory, saying Erdogan’s acts greatly contradict the values and principles of the international law, the UN Charter, declarations and resolutions of the UN Security Council that assure the sovereignty, unity, independence and territorial integrity of Syrian Arab Republic.
According to the Ministry, latest provocation comes right in time of the subversive role that Erdogan regime is playing in Syria, as the main partner, facilitator and coordinator of takfiri terrorist threat that has been unleashed upon Syria and its people, noting that the whole thing only boosts the threat level of international terrorism in general.
The Ministry reminded both bodies addressed that the people of Syria, as well as its government and the army, are all fully determined to destroy the Erdogan-regime sponsored/manufactured threat of takfiri terrorism by all means necessary.
The letters also noted the complete silence of the international community regarding the issue, a thing which not only points to dual standards, but also contributes to developments, stability and security in the region, in a highly negative way.
