Units of the Syrian Army and its allies are proceeding deeper into the Syrian Desert.

During the latest batch of operations, a control over several villages was taken, among them Khibratan Raqaba, Abu Khashabah and Tal Makhrouta, located south and southeast of the Mount Sisse, a key strategic point southeast of Damascus.

The Syrian Army also proceeded 21 km further into the Desert after starting to move eastwards from their positions at French Outpost in the Zuluf area of the southeastern countryside of Damascus province, and proceeding further to the east in direction of Jabal Jarin, a thing that eventually allowed the Army to take control of more than 200 square kilometers of land.

In the southern countryside of Raqqah, Tiger Forces, an elite special forces unit of the Syrian Army, managed to take control over the area of Bir Atao, Bir Horan and Bir Alznati, located south of the strategic and now liberated town of Rusafah, following intense clashes with ISIS terrorists.
