Representatives of the armies of NATO countries will march along Khreshchatyk (main street), where on August 24 a military parade will be held for the occasion of the 26th anniversary of Ukraine's independence.
"This year, a lot of our partners expressed their desire to participate in the celebration of the Independence Day of Ukraine, next to us will be representatives of the armed forces of the countries of the alliance." said the Minister of Defense.
Kiev is ready to receive participants from all 29 NATO countries. So far, only six of them have confirmed their participation. In addition to foreign guests, about 4,500 Ukrainian soldiers will take part in the parade.
