American lethal weapons to be used by Ukraine against the Donbass Republics
Moscow. If the White House delivers Javelin anti-tank missiles to Ukraine, they will mainly be used against the self-declared republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, said Russian Senator Vladimir Shamanov.
This phenomenon will negatively affect the stability of Russia's western borders, the politician noted.
Head of the Defense Committee of the Russian State Duma Vladimir Shamanov commented on the US initiative to spend $ 350 million on Ukrainian defense.
"Lethal Defensive Weapons"According to the documents of the Armed Forces Committee in the US Congress, the initiative eventually provides for the delivery of "lethal defensive weapons."
"If this is done, there is no doubt that it will mainly be used against the People's Republic of Donetsk and the Lugansk People's Republic, which will further destabilize the situation (...) under the Minsk agreements," the deputy said.
