JARABLUS, Syria - Former Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) spokesperson Talal Sillo, who earlier today defected after crossing into territory in Syria held by the Turkish military and its jihadist allies as reported by FRN, has made his first announcement.
"The SDF project will collapse in a few months," the former spokesperson of the Kurdish-led forces said after defecting.
The US-backed SDF are engaged in a program to federalize Syria, an effort that the Syrian government are trying to prevent by preserving the sovereignty of Syria in its entirety.
It is unknown what role the former spokesman will undertake now that he has defected to Turkish-backed forces.
