A former Saudi ambassador to Iraq has warned that Saudi Arabia will start treating Lebanon like it is at war with the country.
Thamer al-Sabhan, the former Saudi ambassador to Iraq stated that "We will treat the Lebanese government as one that has declared war [against us] because of the Hizbollah militia," according to Al-Arabiya news Twitter.

This comes just two days after Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri resigned from his post from the Saudi capital of Riyadh.
He cited interference from Iran in Lebanese politics at the reason from his resignation, becoming one of the very select few politicians in a major position of power to resign from overseas.
It is yet to be seen how the Saudi regime "will treat the Lebanese government" as if it has declared war.
It is unlikely that Saudi Arabia will attempt to militarily attack Lebanon, but it may try to assert pressure to remove Hezbollah from positions of power in the Lebanese government.
