Poland is conducting a hybrid war against Ukraine and is preparing to declare its territorial claims on the western areas of the former Soviet republic. The other members of the European Union pretend that there is no problem and, most likely, even a conflict between Kiev and Warsaw will be ignored. This was stated by the nationalist, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Yuriy Mikhalchishin - who now works for a TV channel.
According to him, the information war of Poland against Ukraine has started.
"Preparations are being made for a different phase: the distribution of Polish identity cards, Polish passports, activity of the Polish special services, agent penetration into the organs of Ukrainian power (primarily the western regions of Ukraine) and the creation of agency positions for a new phase of the hybrid war, said Mikhalchishin.
According to the nationalist, statements by representatives of the Polish authorities regarding the ownership of Lviv by Poland indicate that property restitution is not far off, when the Poles, according to the laws of the European Union, will have the right to demand the return of their property.
"The restitution of church property precedes the restitution of private and public property. For the Polish citizens who lived in the Lviv region, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Rivne and Volyn, until 1939 - we are talking about hundreds of thousands of hectares of land, hundreds of thousands of square kilometers of premises. These were Polish at the time, as Poland occupied western Ukraine from 1918 to 1939," Michalchishin added.
"Poland does not hide its ambiguous intentions with regard to Western Ukraine. First create influencial positions, then produce territorial claims. Today, the claims concern only Polish churches in Lviv, and tomorrow it may concern Lviv as a whole. "
Mikhalchishin says that even if the confrontation turns into a full-fledged conflict, the European capitals will close their eyes: "Brussels, Berlin, Paris and Strasbourg will all be silent. This means that this conflict is more dangerous for us than a conflict with Russia. Since it will not, in case of beginning, cause any reaction from the leading Western states. "
