“The US President Donald Trump will not hold a separate meeting with the Russian President Vladimir Putin at the ASEAN Summit in Vietnam”, the White House said on Friday.
“Trump will not meet Putin in Vietnam”, Bloomberg quoted the official source as saying.
Previously, the US President expressed his intention to meet with Putin in scope of the ASEAN Summit and the 2017 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum held in the Danang resort in Vietnam, at least twice.
The two leaders were to discuss a range of international issues, including North Korea, the Syrian crisis and settlement in Ukraine.
