Baghdad, Iraq - Iraqis have turned out in their hundreds to against a proposed bill for child marriages.
The protest took place on the famous Mutanabbi street in Baghdad.
The protest occurred despite the fact that the bill is expected to be rejected in parliament.
"The bill was never going to pass, election cycle coming up so many rubbish bills like this proposed for votes," said a protester.
"Waste of parliament time because no one will pass such a law but these MPs can go home and tell their base they tried," said another.
