BERLIN, Germany - Three buses stood vertical to the ground outside the famous Brandenburg Gate in Berlin on Friday.

The purpose was to recreate sniper barricade used in Syria's largest city, Aleppo.

German-Syrian artist Manaf Halbouni installed his latest artwork titled the 'Monument' at the famous site in a copycat of the three buses used to protect civilians from terrorist sniper fire.

Halbouni's work was also set up earlier this year outside the Frauenkirche church in Dresden.
