ATHENS, Greece - Hundreds of activists from the All Workers Military Front (PAME) marched through Athens on Thursday to protest against the extreme austerity measures imposed on the country as well as its membership in NATO.
Protesters called on the government to raise minimum wages and better protect workers’ rights, among other measures.
Protests also took place in other cities including Thessaloniki, Patra, Rethymno, Hania, Corinth and Kalamata.
