Ukraine's Donbass Battalion
On March 29th, unidentified persons shot up the building of the Polish General Consulate in Lutsk, Ukraine with an RPG. According to the official spokesman of the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic, Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Marochko, those militants belong to the Ukrainian Donbass battalion (an extremist organization banned in Russia), and they are planning to sabotage a gas transit pipeline.
“Servicemen of the Nazi Donbass battalion were involved in the shooting of the Polish embassy in Lutsk, and this was done with the aim of cleansing Ukraine’s western regions of national minorities,” Marochko said.
Lutsk is the administrative center of the Volyn region, where Banderite death squads collaborating with the Nazis genocidally murdered no less than 40,000 Poles during the Second World War.
According to Marochko, the LPR's People's Militia suspects that the provocative attack on Poland's diplomatic mission is only one in a chain of terrorist attacks. “The next target in the chain of terrorist attacks by nationalists could be a gas pipeline running from Ukraine to Poland,” the colonel stated.
Meanwhile, both Polish and Ukrainian officials have been busy searching for a "Russian trace" in the embassy incident.
