A Cobra helicopter, belonging to the Jordanian regime's Royal Armed Forces reportedly crashed yesterday while conducting a training flight, following a technical error. Both pilots are claimed to have survived the accident.

A statement, issued by the General Command of the so-called "Royal Jordanian Armed Forces", confirmed the loss of a Cobra helicopter that occurred during a training flight in Ghabawi (an area east of the Jordanian capital city of Amman), due to technical problems that eventually forced both pilots to make an emergency landing, which ended successfully. Both crew members have since been transferred to the King Hussein Medical Center, and are, according to the statement of the General Command, in good condition.

This is not the first incident, related to the Jordanian aviation. Previously, an F-16 aircraft crashed during a test flight due to  technical fault on the 5th of December 2016, claiming the life of one pilot. Another jet crashed on April 6th 2015, during a training flight, killing a Jordanian pilot, alongside his Iraqi trainee.
