Former head of FBI: Russia tried to interfere in elections, but there is no evidence - Like This Article

June 8th, 2017 - Fort Russ News -

The former FBI Director, James Comey, stated that he had no doubt about the fact that Russia was trying to interfere in the US presidential election.

He stated this under oath in the Senate.

However, he stressed that there is no evidence that Russian intervention led to the falsification of the ballots in the presidential elections in the United States.

Comey noted that US President, Donald Trump, had every right to fire him, and he knew it from the beginning.

Comey said that the changing stories of the agencies worried him, as well as the "outright lie" that supposedly he had lost the confidence of his subordinates.

Of the FBI, Comey stated that it is a fair and independent agency, and he was sorry that he was not able to properly say goodbye to the personal composition of the Bureau.
