Syrian forces reportedly established full control over strategically important town of Maskanah in the eastern Aleppo countryside.
This is a highly important achievement as it concludes the chapter of Syrian Army's struggle against ISIS in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province.
The Aleppo province as a whole is now said to be free of ISIS and the army will start focusing on eradicating ISIS in the eastern countryside of Hama province.
Tiger Forces, an elite special unit of the Syrian Army led by Maj. Gen. Suheil Al Hassan, also known as Al Nimr (the tiger), has played a key role in the operation.
