It has been reported by the Ukrainian border agency, 600 Ukrainians have crossed the border with the European Union without visas. The agreement has been in place for only 1 day.
"Already, in the early hours of the moment that new rules have come into place, the state border of Ukraine has recorded almost 600 Ukrainians with new biometric passports that have crossed into the EU."
Ed: This agreement is smoke and mirrors, as the visa free regime does not grant working rights, but only travel access to EU countries. It does not address the question of increased migrants from the Ukraine who may potentially work illegally.
