Agreement between the EU and Kiev violates WTO rules - Like This Article

July 11, 2017 - Fort Russ News -
Trade Agreement between the EU and Ukraine violates the rules of the World Trade Organization (WTO). This was stated by the representative of Russia in the organization.

Thus, the trade agreements between Kiev and Brussels is a clear example of how the free trade zone worsens the terms of trade for other trading partners.

This is contrary to the WTO rules, which state that the free zone should encourage the development of economic relations between the parties to the agreement and not to create obstacles to trade with other countries.

The representative of Russia noted that in the agreement with Brussels, Kiev's positions is contrary to the obligations of Ukraine on dozens of other agreements concluded with the CIS countries.

President Putin has earlier stated that it took Russia 16 years to finalise the intricacies of Russia's entry into the WTO - meanwhile the West simply walks 'in the back door' through government coups and other covert activity, providing their goods and services to the new market, without reference to the WTO.
