Series of new achievements were made by the Syrian forces in the eastern province of Deir Ez Zour, during the past 24 hours.
According to the field reports, Syrian Army, backed by the Syrian Air Force, destroyed 4 vehicles and an ammunition depot, belonging to ISIS terrorists after carrying out precise strikes on their positions and gatherings in Al Sinaa neighbourhood of Deir Ez Zour city, the vicinity of Al Jafra village, Al Halabiya crossing in Al Huseiniya area and the village of Al Bu Omar, located in the eastern countryside of Deir Ez Zour province.
Scores of the terrorists were killed in the operations.
Later, Syrian Air Force carried out new strikes against the gatherings and hideouts of ISIS terrorists in the surrounding areas of the Airport, cemeteries, and Al Jubailiyeh, again killing plenty of the terrorists and destroying one of their ammunition depots.
In addition, the Army units, currently defending Deir Ez Zour Airport, carried out special operations, during which, a BMP vehicle and a heavy machine-gun, were destroyed.
Meanwhile, sources from the eastern town of Abu Kamal reported that the locals are continuing their struggle against ISIS.
So far they manged to kill several higher ranking terrorists, among them Abu Mariam, the so-called ISIS “Prince of Al Zakat” in the town of Mayadeen, Hussein Al Ajaj (also known Abu Othman) and Abu Fatima Al Maghribi.
