President Petro Poroshenko has signed amendments to some laws of the Ukraine concerning the country's national security.
"The entry of Ukraine into NATO is clearly identified as one of the key factors of state policy", - it said in a statement.
According to the document, changes to the law concern Euro-Atlantic integration.
"One of the priorities of the national interests of Ukraine is integration into the Euro-Atlantic space by acquiring membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization", - said the press-service.
Ukraine pledges to intensify its effort in a whole range of reforms, including in the sphere of defense and security in order to achieve compliance with the criteria for membership in the Alliance.
