In Slavyansk teenagers detained for not standing up during the anthem of Ukraine

On Sunday, August 13, in occupied Slavyansk during the regular "veche," one of the ATO participants noticed teenagers who had not stood up during the performance of the Ukrainian anthem. The young people refused to get up even after being reproached by the invader. The outraged "warrior" called the police. The incident was reported by the local newspaper Delovoi Slavyansk.

After the arrival of the police, the ATO participant urged them to check the teenagers' relatives for involvement in the DPR or the city's Russian underground.

"On their arrival, the police checked out the data of the young people.  They found out that the teenagers were students of various educational institutions, one of whom is studying in Lvov.

"Having checked the documents, and having confirmed the identities of the young people, the police released the participants of the incident," the report said.
It is noteworthy that the publication asked residents of the occupied city to evaluate the act of young people. As a result of the survey, those approving the teenagers' behavior almost won a twofold advantage.
