The head of the General Staff of the Supreme Armed Forces of Ukraine, Viktor Muzhenko, stated that "Canada is close to adopting an important political decision on military assistance to Ukraine."
"What we need requires appropriate political decisions. This question hangs in the air, and we hope that in the near future it must descend to earth and materialize." said Muzhenko.
According to him, this issue was raised during a meeting with the Chief of the Defense Staff of Canada, General Jonathan Vance.
"I had a bilateral meeting with the Chief of Defense of Canada, during which we talked about the provision of assistance from Canada in all areas, including psychological rehabilitation and the increase in the number of Canadian soldiers conducting training in Ukraine."
"We proposed certain areas of cooperation, they will process them and state by how many persons they will be able to increase their mission in Ukraine." Muzhenko stated.
