Yazidi families are leaving in their masses from Iraqi Kurdistan to Baghdad government-controlled areas, according to Sura News.
Sura News cited that the Yazidis were being treated poorly by Kurdish authorities, prompting their decision to try and leave Iraqi Kurdistan.
The report went onto say that the authorities of the Kurdistan Regional Government begun blocking roads that exit their territory of control to prevent a mass migration that would poorly reflect on the region as preparations to conduct an unconstitutional independence referendum is underway.
