What is happening to America? It took on the functions of a hegemon and can not cope with them.

Unfortunately, the phenomenon of American stupidity did not end with poor Jen Psaki. The recommendations of the experts of the analytical center "Atlantic Council" sound equally bizarre to their audience.

They proposed the introduction of warships in the Sea of Azov to "deblock the Kerch Strait." (Crimea) I wonder how they imagine it from the point of view of school of physics and mathematics? For example, the height of destroyers of the Arleigh Burke class from the waterline level to the top of the mast is 45.7 m, and the height of the arch of the Crimean bridge is 35 m. The depth of the destroyers of the first and second series is 9.3-9.9 m (with a hydroacoustic station), and the average depth of the Azov Sea, according to various estimates, is 6.8-8 m.

President Trump is slightly ahead of the experts in his vision. He plays on threatening North Korea with atomic weapons, as if he does not understand that even a single and limited use of it means the collapse of US foreign policy and the imbalance of forces around the world.

The reasons for the war are really little. Most of them are in the economic plane. For example, on December 31, 2019, the deadline for the supply of Russian gas to Ukraine will expire and, at the same time, the gas transit agreement to Europe.

But this business, one might say, is not from the past, but from the near future, as Poroshenko stated in the Address to the Verkhovna Rada, - he wanted to achieve a "revolutionary" change in the organization of gas transit routes. For Europeans to buy not from the transit routes of Western Ukraine, but Eastern, which would no longer favour transit services to Russia, but to the European Union. Russia will never accept such an option.

If Moscow decides not to renew the contract, Ukraine will annually receive less than $ 2 billion and lose the important status of the transit point of Russian gas in the eyes of Europe. After Ukraine, Poland will also lose it. The battle for the pipe will be serious.

In the first edition of the White Paper on the defense policy of Ukraine in 2005, it was planned to develop the armed forces in accordance with the tasks of national defense in the military and economic spheres. To what extent the Ukrainian army was ready for military challenges, it showed in 2014. As for economic threats, the Ukrainian army will be powerless to resist the "drying" of the gas transportation system (GTS). We can not discount the deep interest of Poland in the uninterrupted operation of the Ukrainian GTS. But even this important economic problem can not yet cause a war in the center of Europe.

Still, for Poland, perhaps, the Russian-Ukrainian war would have been good.

In case of its occurrence, Warsaw will have an opportunity under a plausible pretext to return its former possessions, which it inherited under the Riga Treaty with Soviet Russia in 1921 and by the decision of the Ambassadors of 1923. This is about Galicia, Volhynia and Kholm.

Hungary and Romania also have a great interest in the territories of the former Ukrainian USSR.

When we talk about the pretext of war, the least we mean is the protection of Ukrainian territory. The preposition is voiced by Hungary, Romania and Poland. This is the protection of national minorities, the preservation of their national identity - their native language and culture. Budapest, Bucharest and Warsaw have already expressed to Kyiv a sharp protest in connection with the Law on Education adopted by the Verkhovna Rada. The head of Transcarpathian regional administration Gennady Moskal even called on Peter Poroshenko to veto.

The adopted document contradicts the law "On National Minorities in Ukraine", the European Charter for Regional Languages, the Framework Convention for the Protection of the Rights of National Minorities, the Declaration on the Rights of Persons Belonging to National or Ethnic, Religious and Linguistic Minorities, the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, bilateral agreements of Ukraine with Moldova, Romania and Hungary, as well as the Constitution of Ukraine, guaranteeing the right to education in their native language. In a summary, than is not a reason for war.

Once Poland, together with Germany, has already used this in October 1939. The fuse to undermine the postwar structure of Eastern Europe is almost prepared in Washington.

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned: "the self-proclaimed republics have enough weapons, including those seized from the opposing side, from nationalist battalions, etc. And if American weapons enter the conflict zone, it is difficult to say how the proclaimed republics will react. Maybe they will send the weapons they have to other conflict zones that are sensitive to those who create problems for them. " In this case, Ukraine as a state risks shrinking to the Kievan principality with the loss of territories on three sides of the world.

Kiev foresees the inevitability of the aggravation of the conflict and is actively preparing for it.

According to Poroshenko, about 200 thousand Ukrainians who are ready to fight tomorrow are being put through mobilization. However, the bulk of the army is made up of volunteers who came on contract. During 2016, 70 thousand people were employed. This year - 25 thousand. Expenses for the purchase of weapons in comparison with 2013 have increased 10 times. The program of weapon-modernization of the army has began.

"We are facing important tasks in developing and setting up the production of new missile weapons, cruise missile systems, modern artillery systems, high-precision ammunition, drone-type unmanned aerial vehicles, space reconnaissance vehicles," Poroshenko said in his address to the Verkhovna Rada.

This is nothing more than preparation for the war of 2020, when simultaneously with the devastation of the "rusty pipe" there will be no obstacles to the last and decisive battle for Ukraine.
