Terrorists have fired missiles at the center of Damascus, where part of the shells fell into the area of ​​the Russian embassy, ​​damaging several buildings.

The massive bombardment of Damascus was carried out by terrorists controlling the area of ​​East Ghouta. Local sources said that as a result of the bombardment, several buildings were damaged in densely populated areas of the Syrian capital.

It is reported that the shelling is still going on, explosions are heard throughout the city. According to local authorities, the shelling has already led to the death of 10 civilians.

Let us note that the Russian embassy in Damascus is often exposed to shelling by militants during artillery strikes of terrorists in different regions of Damascus. In August, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported a bombardment of the embassy, ​​in which there were no casualties, but physical damage on buildings was evident. The Foreign Ministry expressed outrage at the UN Security Council's unwillingness to condemn the attack on the Russian embassy.
