DAMASCUS, Syria. Syrian Forces have regained control over the village of Sarha Al Qibliyeh, located in the northeastern countryside of Hama province on Tuesday after inflicting heavy losses upon Hay’at Tahrir Al Sham (Al Nusra Front) terrorists in terms of personnel and equipment.

According to the field reports, the army units are currently pursuing the fleeing terrorists that are lurking around the area.

Members of the Syrian Army’s engineering units have already begun dismantling the landmines and explosive devices planted by terrorists in private and public places.

Yesterday, army units regained control over the villages of Al Hasnawei and Abu Al Gher, located 90 km northeast of Hama city.

While combing the newly liberated areas, members of the engineering units detonated a network of tunnels in the village of Al Hardaneh and destroyed several rocket launch pads that were used by terrorists to shell the civilian areas in the town of Salamiyeh. They also seized a depot full of spare parts of armored vehicles and cars.

In the town of Uqayribat, the former ISIS stronghold in the northeastern countryside of Hama, army units discovered an ISIS command center while inspecting the area. 10 artillery shells and dozens of explosives were found inside.
