- Breakingnews.sy - - translated by Samer Hussein -Syrian Army has thwarted a huge infiltration attempt by different terrorist groups, including Al Rahman Brigade, Jaysh Al Islam and Hay’at Tahrir Al Sham (Al Nusra Front), coming from several axes in the vicinity of the town of Harasta, located in the eastern countryside of Damascus.
According to the field sources, terrorists resorted to tunnel networks from several axes in order to gain access to Department of Vehicles of the Syrian Armed Forces in the town of Harasta.
The terrorists reportedly began their attack with a suicide bomber detonating his car which was loaded with explosives in the vicinity of the building of Department of Vehicles.
After fierce clashes with terrorists in the Haina Plain and in the hills around Kafr Hoor and Beit Saber, the attacks finally got thwarted.
The terrorists of Al Rahman Brigade were forced to completely withdraw.
The sources added that the operations against the terrorists stationed in Ghouta Plains are still ongoing.
In Beit Jinn, a town located southwest of Damascus, terrorists targeted neighborhoods of Hina and Beit Saber with rocket-propelled grenades, killing at least two civilians and injuring several others.
