During the year of the Maidan, Ukraine ceased payments for Russia's natural gas. It did however pay off the outstanding amount by the end of that year, a situation that would never have been simply pardoned. What it did achieve though is a chance for Western mainstream media to create stories around "Russia's blackmail" and "skyrocketing prices" for Ukraine's energy needs.
In this video, Putin explains that the Russian-Ukrainian energy supply relationship was established long before the US Establishment had any interest in it whatsoever. So butt out please.
Similarly, Mr Biden's son, Hunter Biden, now sits on the board of Ukraine's largest gas producing company, Burisma. Some might say this is a blatant conflict of interest, given Biden Sr. association with Ukraine's coup d'etat. Nothing to see here folks, move right along.
