Poland to Cooperate With Syria - Like This Article

Dr. Ayman Sosan, Syrian Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister met with Joanna Wronecka, Undersecretary of State at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The talks were held at the headquarters of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Warsaw and were focused on latest developments in Syria and the region.

During the talks, the Syrian side explained the reality of events, especially as regards the terrorist aggression that has been fueled by certain regional, local and international powers. Dr. Sosan also pointed out that international cooperation and support for Syria’s fight against terrorism is necessary as not only Syria, but the rest of the world, is being threatened as well.

For her part, Wronecka expressed solidarity with the Syrian people and their suffering and a hope for the return of peace and stability to Syria which stores an important cultural legacy for all humanity.
She also expressed her country's desire to cooperate with Syria in terms of protecting and securing the Syrian cultural heritage that has received some damage from the terrorists and offered humanitarian assistance to Syria, while also renewing her country's interest in further developing the existing historical ties of friendship between the two countries.

The talks were attended on behalf Jamaan Al Agha, Chargé d'Affaires at the Syrian Embassy in Warsaw. Dr. Sosan arrived in Warsaw at the official invitation of the Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland.
